What is Love? Lately I’ve been hearing people say all the right things about their relationships and how their sooooo in Love, but these peoples actions don’t line up with those words. I’ve seen it too many times even in my own experiences…I’ve learned that now a days people use the word too loosely so the meaning of the word has been lost…How do we find it? Or maybe Love doesn’t have a true definition and its up to you to determine exactly what it is? I see Love as the feeling you get about someone or something that can’t be changed for better or worst. Love is being there through all the tough times and staying to enjoy the good times. Love has different meanings on different levels. I’ve asked 3 people anonymously for their definition, 2 women and 1 man, these were their responses…..


Woman 1

”Well…my def of love is when i feel a connection with someone or something emotionally, i almost need that thing in my life, i feel that that thing crosses my path for a reason, season or a lifetime, it makes me happy, even small parts of it makes me a better person, that there is something good in it, that it does come and go, its not promised to be permanent…idk if thats a def, but thats how i think about love”

”She never answered the question…she actually changed the subject, maybe she has never been in love? Or maybe she has and its too painful too think about all the stuff she put up with or has been through, because of the words ‘I love you’ I’ll go with the latter.”


Dictionary.com states Love -a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person place or thing.


At the end of the day Love can’t have one universal meaning because its different for every person. Sometimes it can’t even be explained.
